Exclusion Notice Appeals
A person who has been banned from entering licensed premises throughout Doncaster may lodge an appeal against the prohibition.
- Appeals should be made in writing to the Pubwatch co-ordinator (details on banning letter).
- Appeals letters will be acknowledged in writing.
When an appeal is made against a banning order, Pubwatch scheme members will take into account the following:
- The seriousness of the incident for which the ban/exclusion order was imposed
- The feelings of all persons involved
- The acceptance (or not) of wrong doing by the person or persons that have been banned / excluded
- Any restitution already taken
- Any other relevant details
The person or persons lodging the appeal will be informed in writing by the Pubwatch coordinator of the member's decision regarding the banning order. |
