The annual highlight of the Doncaster licensed trades calendar has now been confirmed for January 19th. The Best Bar None awards night promises to be even bigger and better with HallamFM once again hosting the event. Michelle Dignan from Big Johns Breakfast show and the School Years will be joined by lunchtime show DJ Ollie Hayes whose after show party will keep you dancing until the early hours.

Entertainment for the night will get everyone in the mood for celebrating their BBN success with one of the leading tribute bands in the country headlining — Abba Revival, following their recent appearances on the BBC and at Disneyland Paris will have all budding Meryl Streeps and Pierce Brosnans trying to recreate their favourite moment from this years massive hit “Mama Mia”.

On arrival at Doncaster Racecourse guests can enjoy a Champagne reception courtesy of John Smiths before taking their seat for a predinner performance by singing sensation Leroy Vickers.

Following the sumptuous four course meal will be the presentation of the 2008 Doncaster Best Bar None Awards, which will celebrate the best that the borough of Doncaster’s licensed trade has to offer.
